Located in Sherberghan\u2014the epicenter of Afghanistan\u2019s vast hydrocarbon deposits\u2014Bayat Power-1 will begin operations the summer of 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Bayat Power-1 is the first new Gas Fired power plant in Afghanistan in more than forty (40) years. Bayat Power-1 represents the first in a series of Gas to Electricity Power Plants owned and operated by Bayat Power that will provide Afghanistan with affordable, reliable and environmentally sustainable electric power.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>A Calibrated and Careful Approach to Electric Power Production:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Bayat Power has implemented a three-phase protocol to ensure that Bayat Power-1 attains the highest standards for operational capacity, safety and electric power production, while also ensuing that power generation can begin as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/bayatpower.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Turbine-Full-View-SGT_A45_Afgnt-013-copy_Fotor.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Phase One of Bayat Power-1 will begin commercial operation in the summer of 2019. This phase of the plant\u2019s operations will enable Bayat Power-1 to generate up to 40 megawatts of electricity, enough electricity to supply 200,000 Afghans and businesses. When all three phases of Bayat Power-1 are operational, the plant will generate more than 200 megawatts of electricity\u2014enough to serve millions of Afghan residential and commercial clients.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Bayat Power and The Siemens SGT A-45: World Class Technology For Fast Power Production:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Bayat Power-1 utilizes the <a href=\"https:\/\/new.siemens.com\/global\/en\/products\/energy\/power-generation\/gas-turbines\/sgt-a45.html\">Siemens SGT A-45 Fast Power Turbine<\/a>. The Siemens SGT A-45 is the world\u2019s most advanced Gas Fired \u2018Fast Power\u2019 solution, and Bayat Power is the first power company in the world to use the SGT A-45 Turbine in commercial operations.
