Donation of Cows is Part of Long Term Effort to Improve Local Economy and Quality of Life
Kabul, Afghanistan—July 31, 2019—The Bayat Foundation (www.bayatfoundation.org), Afghanistan’s largest private charitable foundation and Bayat Power (www.bayat-power.com), announced today that both organizations have made a large donation of livestock to residents of the villages adjacent to Bayat Power’s operations in Sheberghan, the capitol of Afghanistan’s Jowzjan Province.
From July 24th until July 26th 2019, employees of Bayat Power and The Bayat Foundation donated cows to the residents of the following villages:
- Bakawal Village
- Eragly Village
- Eramas Village
- Shor Ariq 1 Village
- Shor Ariq 2 Village
- Khanaqa District
- Aqcha Village (Mangjic)
- Jalalabad & Islam Joy Villages
- Sheberghan Police Checkpoint
- Ali Aabd Village
This gift of livestock to the people of Jowzjan Province is the latest example of the commitment of Bayat Power and The Bayat Foundation to improve the quality of life for local families and communities.
